Push Pins

Here are pictures of some of my very first attempts at Montessori inspired works.  I found these oversized push pins at Hobby Lobby, along with the cute little bowl (67 cents, baby!)  I'm pretty sure the cork board tiles came from my local grocery store, I just glues two tiles together so pins don't get stuck in my tables.  


Of course, I was very present during this work.  Cam had passed the putting-everything-in-his-mouth stage, so I felt pretty safe using these.  We had a little talk about 'sharp' and how to properly hold the pins.  He was about 18-20 months in these pics
